[...] The K12 Online Conference is about to kick off it’s ‘official’ schedule after a week of pre-conference activities which started with David Warlick’s Pre-Conference Keynote and I guess you could say the pre-conference week is ending, aptly, with the Virtual Staffroom’s contribution of an excellent podcast (38 minutes - well worth it!) about the event.
Hi Richard, sorry to hear the Flash player is so awkward for you. I generally recommend that people use something like iTunes to subscribe to the podcast, or at least to listen to individual episides. The onscreen Flash player is really only there as a convenience (although it doesn't sound like it's been too convenient for you! Sorry) and is best used just to grab a quick preview. Definitely better to download the episode if you plan to listen to the whole thing.

At the top of the main page you will find a link called "How to Subscribe" and it will explain it all for you.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

[...] K12 Online is about teaching and learning on the bleeding edge. But more than that, it’s about making personal connections with like minded educators from across the globe. Past participants have remarked that the best part of K12 Online is the people they meet and, in many cases, end up collaborating with. As a result of the personal connections you make with others while participating in K12 Online you can form your own intimate personal learning network. Teachers need teachers too. Take My Hand is one way you can find the teacher you need to learn what you’re interested in, in your own time, in your own way, on your own terms. Here’s how it works: [...]

In the spirit of helpfulness I submint the following:

While this page is clean, it uses jaggon to which I am not familiar, such as Tags. They look like links to me. Is a tag and international name for link?

The Flash player has a pause button that only restarts the 30+ minute presentation. I was interupted twice and had to restart both times. It would have been fastrer to down load it. I guess I'l learen.
